Mount Sinai Health System seeks a Physician-Scientist Postdoctoral Research Fellow to advance multimodal AI for prostate cancer imaging within the Radiology AI & Informatics Group at Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai in New York, NY.

The role anchors AI research clinically, working with computer scientists, radiologists, and pathologists to ensure data, models, and validation studies are clinically meaningful and translatable to real-world care.

Qualifications

• MD or MD/PhD, radiology training preferred.
• Strong interest in medical AI and translational research.
• Experience interfacing clinical and technical teams.

Responsibilities

• Curate multimodal imaging and clinical datasets from PACS and EHR.
• Define study cohorts via chart review and phenotyping; link imaging to biopsy/pathology.
• Develop annotation protocols and establish ground truth for AI models.
• Design clinical validation and reader studies with endpoints and analysis plans.
• Coordinate radiology fellows and attendings in multi-reader studies.
