Job summary

Endeavor Health Research Institute, in collaboration with the University of Chicago, invites applications for a Post-Doc Research Fellow in the Center for Psychiatric Genetics in Evanston, IL. This NIH grant-funded role reports to a PI/Supervisor and focuses on iPSC-derived neurons and brain organoids, with single-cell RNA-seq/ATAC-seq and CRISPR/Cas9 approaches.

The position is full-time, onsite, with competitive NIH salary guidelines and the potential for manuscript authorship and fellowship

Qualifications

• Education: PhD or MD required in a science field.
• Experience: Background in Molecular/Cellular Biology, Neuroscience, or functional Genomics preferred.
• Skills: Excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Take a lead on NIH funded projects.
• Work independently under PI supervision.
• Prepare scientific manuscripts for publication.
• Develop scientific proposals to apply for fellowships.
