Idaho National Laboratory (INL) is seeking a Postdoctoral Research Associate in Instrumentation and Control Engineering for the Department of Plant Optimization. The role focuses on introducing digital technologies for the commercial nuclear power sector and transforming plant operation to a human-led, digital approach.

You will contribute to interdisciplinary R&D, write manuscripts, and present findings at conferences, collaborating with project managers and PIs while working on a 9x80 Idaho

Competenze

• PhD in Electrical, Mechanical, or Nuclear Engineering or comparable disciplines (required).
• PhD must be completed by appointment commencement and within the previous 5 years.
• Demonstrated oral and written communication skills in English.
• Experience in digital I&C design, PLC/DSCS/FPGA, digit. testbeds, digital architectures, and programming tools (Python, C/C++, MATLAB/Simulink, LabVIEW).
