Job summary
Pfizer in La Jolla, CA is seeking a Ph.D.-level scientist to join BioMedicine Design as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow focused on developing next-generation T cell engagers. You will work at the interface of protein engineering, cell biology, and immunology, collaborating with Pfizer teams to advance early-stage therapeutics and publish findings.
The ideal candidate has strong training in molecular biology, cell biology, immunology or structural biology, and solid knowledge of oncology.
Qualifications
- PhD in cancer biology, immunology, molecular or cellular biology, biochemistry, chemical and biomolecular engineering or related discipline is required.
- Provide two letters of recommendation with your application (PI or professor).
- Fixed-term full-time postdoctoral fellowship for 2–4 years.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate strong technical and scientific rigor in project planning and gap identification.
- Design and produce constructs; develop cell-based assays to test hypotheses.
- Generate and communicate results at internal meetings; inform direction of research.
- Contribute to developing approaches to discover and optimize therapeutics.
