Job summary

Pfizer is seeking a Postdoctoral Research Fellow in BioMedicine Design, La Jolla, CA, to advance next-generation T cell engager programs. The role spans protein engineering, cell biology, and immunology with collaboration across Pfizer teams and opportunities to publish in high-impact journals.

The ideal candidate will hold a PhD in cancer biology or related field, show strong molecular/cellular biology skills, and have at least one first-author publication.

Qualifications

• PhD in cancer biology (or related field).
• Experience with molecular biology, cell biology, immunology or structural biology preferred.
• Strong in antibody discovery and protein engineering is a plus.
• Ability to design and execute cell-based assays and data analysis.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate scientific rigor in project planning and hypothesis testing.
• Design and construct biological tools and assays; test hypotheses and rank molecules.
• Communicate results at internal meetings and drive data-informed decisions.
