Compression - Operations Associate

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Ensure operational excellence by coordinating Quantile optimization runs, collaborating with internal teams and client front offices to deliver proposals.
  • Assist with post-run processes like trade booking and regulatory reporting.
  • Test new operational features for readiness in production environments.
  • Help onboard new clients, ensuring they are prepared for optimization runs.
  • Maintain ongoing dialogue with clients to understand their needs and present analyses to encourage participation.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a financial or numerate field such as mathematics, physics, economics, engineering, or computer science (or equivalent experience).
  • Excellent English communication skills across different seniority levels, with the ability to explain quantitative issues clearly to clients.
  • Attention to detail, ability to meet tight deadlines, and comfort working independently.
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment under pressure.
  • Strong team player with high responsibility and motivation.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Skills in data analytics tools like SQL, Python, or Tableau are advantageous.
  • Knowledge of IR or FX derivatives (swaps, cross-currency swaps, FX forwards, NDFs) is a plus.

Compensation/Benefits:

The anticipated base salary ranges from $66,100 to $110,300, with variations based on location, experience, and role level. The role is eligible for an annual incentive plan, benefits including wellness allowances, paid time off, medical/dental/vision coverage, 401(k) with company match, and other perks.
