Compression - Operations Associate

Our focus is on deploying sophisticated technology to analyse Banks' trade and risk data in the cleared and non-cleared markets, to generate multilateral risk-mitigating transaction proposals, and then organize the execution of such proposals. Here are some highlights being an Operations Associate:

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Ensure operational excellence by coordinating Quantile optimization runs, collaborating with various internal teams and front office at client organizations to deliver optimization proposals.
  • Assist with any post run processes (e.g. trade booking, regulatory reporting).
  • Test new operational features to ensure they are ready for production environments.
  • Help onboard new clients to the platform ensuring they are ready for a production optimization runs.
  • Have an ongoing dialogue with clients to better understand their needs and presenting analysis to help drive increased participation.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in financial or numerate field, mathematics, physics, economics, engineering, computer science (or relevant equivalent experience).
  • Excellent English communication skills across different levels of seniority (being able to understand quantitative issues and explain them to Clients with varying levels of sophistication)
  • Attention to detail,ability to work to tight deadlines and comfortable working under own initiative.
  • Ability to work in a dynamic and fast paced environment under pressure
  • Strong teammate with high sense of responsibility and high motivation
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite: Excel, Word, PowerPoint & Outlook
  • Skill in data analytics tools such as SQL, Python or Tableau is a plus
  • Knowledge of IR or FX Derivatives (swaps, cross currency swaps, FX Fwds, NDFs) is an advantage

Compensation/Benefits Information:

LSEG is committed to offering competitive Compensation and Benefits. The anticipated base salary for this position is $66,100 - $110,300.Please be aware base salary ranges may vary by geographic location, city and state. In addition to our offered base salary, this role is eligible for our Annual Incentive Plan (AIP/"bonus plan"). Target AIP rates will be commensurate with role level and posted career stage. Individual salary will be reflective of job related knowledge, skills and equivalent experience. LSEG roles (excluding internships and part-time roles of less than 20 hours per week) are typically eligible for inclusion in our LSEG Benefits program, which includes offerings of: Annual Wellness Allowance, Paid time-off, Medical, Dental, Vision, Flex Spending & Health Savings Options, Prescription Drug plan, 401(K) Savings Plan and Company match.
