Job summary

TALENT Software Services is seeking a skilled post-execution trade processing professional in Charlotte, NC. The role focuses on managing institutional equity transactions through the lifecycle from trade execution to settlement, partnering with Trading, Sales, Operations, Technology, Risk and Compliance to ensure accurate settlement and client satisfaction.

You will resolve trade discrepancies, drive timely settlement, and provide reporting while maintaining compliance and process improvements

Qualifications

• Experience supporting institutional equities, trade support, or settlement operations.
• Strong understanding of trade lifecycle from execution to settlement.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities under deadlines.
• Excellent written and verbal communication for senior stakeholders.
• Attention to risk identification and resolution within post-execution processes.

Responsibilities

• Manage institutional equity transactions from post-execution through final settlement.
• Serve as primary contact for client inquiries on trade status, settlement, and affirmations.
• Monitor unmatched trades, settlement breaks, fails, and discrepancies.
• Coordinate with custodians, prime brokers, counterparties, and clients for timely settlement.
• Escalate operational, settlement, and market risk events as needed.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve processing issues.
• Perform root cause analysis on recurring exceptions and propose improvements.
• Support client onboarding, account maintenance and new product implementations.
• Provide timely client reporting on settlement activity and risk exposure.
• Contribute to industry initiatives and automation projects to drive efficiency.
• Maintain controls and compliance with regulatory procedures.
