Job summary

Qualifications

• RN with Texas license and accredited nursing education.
• 2 years’ Med/Surg RN experience preferred.
• BLS, ACLS, PALS offered at facility if not current.

Responsibilities

• Plan, direct, organize and implement nursing care for post-surgical and medical patients.
• Assess psychosocial, educational and physical needs across age groups.
• Respond to emergencies and develop care plans with measurable goals.
• Educate patients and families and document education.
• Manage pain and administer medications with safety and evaluation.
• Utilize MediTech EMR for orders, documentation and discharge processes.
