North Central Surgical Center in Dallas, TX is seeking a Post Surgical/Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Post-Surgical Unit team on a PRN basis.

The RN will provide comprehensive nursing care to post-surgical and telemetry patients under the supervision of the unit Clinical Supervisor, ensuring high-quality, patient-centered care in compliance with state board and Joint Commission standards.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited RN program.
• Current Texas RN License.
• BLS certification (American Heart Association).
• ACLS certification (AHA) must be obtained within 60 days of hire.
• Two years RN Med-Surg/Telemetry, or one year CCU/ED/PACU experience; post-surgical in orthopedics/spine preferred.

Responsabilités

• Provide direct patient care within the RN scope of practice.
• Administer and document medications safely, following physician orders.
• Document in EHR accurately; manage admits/discharges/transfers.
• Educate patients and families about care expectations.
• Adhere to safety, infection control, and National Patient Safety Goals.
