Job summary

OhioHealth is seeking a Registered Nurse for placement in the Surgical Unit 1. The position is full-time, 36 hours per week, with a day shift from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Eligible for weekend/shift differentials, and responsibilities include delivering nursing care across the health-illness continuum and coordinating with the care team. The RN will perform assessments, plan and document care, evaluate patient responses, and participate in process improvements to support safety, quality, and efficiency

Qualifications

• RN licensure with Ohio Board of Nursing required.
• BLS for Healthcare Provider from American Heart Association required.
• Excellent patient care and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Assessment/Diagnosis - Performs initial, ongoing, and functional health status assessment as applicable.
• Outcomes Identification/Planning - Documents planned nursing interventions to achieve outcomes.
• Implementation/Evaluation - Evaluates response to nursing interventions and revises care plan.
• Leadership - Participates in process improvement activities to improve quality and satisfaction.
• Operations - Functions within a multidisciplinary team to support unit operations.
