Job summary

Banner Health on the Banner Gateway Medical Center campus in Gilbert, AZ is seeking a night shift RN for the 4T medical-surgical unit focusing on post-surgical and oncology patients. You will work with MD Anderson partners and a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care.

Responsibilities include comprehensive assessment, care planning, implementation, and evaluation, with emphasis on evidence-based practice and discharge planning.

Qualifications

• Must hold a current RN license in the state of practice (Arizona).
• Facility may prefer a BSN; BLS certification required.
• Experience in acute care nursing and post-surgical populations is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient needs (physical, psychological, social, spiritual) and plan care.
• Develop discharge plans and coordinate with the multidisciplinary team.
• Implement and supervise nursing care per physician orders and policies.
• Evaluate patient progress and adjust the care plan as needed.
• Document care activities clearly in the patient record.
• Contribute to quality improvement and clinical education initiatives.
• Collaborate with physicians, APPs, and staff to ensure safe care.
