Job summary

Banner Health is seeking an experienced Oncology Registered Nurse in Gilbert, AZ to support Banner MD Anderson Cancer Center. You will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for oncology patients within a multidisciplinary team.

The role requires a valid RN license and BLS certification, with oncology experience preferred. Schedule is 40 hours weekly, Tue–Fri, 7:00 AM–5:30 PM, in a Magnet-recognized facility with state-of-the-art cancer care.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in state of practice.
• BLS certification required.
• Experience in acute care setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient physical, psychological, social, spiritual, educational and discharge needs.
• Formulate and update a plan of care with patient and family input.
• Implement and coordinate nursing care per physician orders and policies.
• Document care and patient response in the medical record.
• Promote evidence-based care and contribute to unit improvement.
