Job summary

Orb is seeking an Implementation Architect in San Francisco to own the technical post-sales journey from implementation through go-live. You will map customer pricing models to Orb’s platform, guide API design, event ingestion, and webhook configuration, and unblock complex integrations.

Collaborating with engineering and customer success, you’ll advocate for scalable fixes, lead technical discovery, and build reference architectures while driving customer outcomes.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in a technical post-sales role (solutions engineering, implementation consulting, or similar).
• Proven ability to translate between business requirements and technical architecture.
• Strong collaboration with customer success, engineering, and product teams.
• Comfortable with SQL and navigating complex data relationships.
• Ability to read API docs, debug integration issues, and explain tradeoffs.

Responsibilities

• Lead implementation kickoffs and technical discovery for pricing models and data architecture.
• Advise on mapping complex business logic to Orb's platform.
• Troubleshoot integration challenges and unblock customers.
• Serve as the ongoing technical point of contact for strategic accounts.
• Partner with Customer Success to ensure smooth handoffs and long-term health.
• Contribute to documentation and reference architectures that accelerate future implementations.
