Reports To: Sales Project Manager
About Us
We are a premier, locally owned Kitchen and Bath Tune-Up franchise operating in Northern New Jersey. We specialize in high-ticket, rapid-turnaround custom kitchen and bath remodeling projects ranging from $20,000 to $100,000+, delivering flawless execution and bespoke design. We have built an exceptional reputation in communities like Montclair, Glen Ridge, and West Orange, and our consistent, year-round growth means we need top-tier talent to support our operations.
The Role
Our Sales Consultants are incredibly successful at bringing in new business, and we need a highly organized, detail-obsessed Design Drafter & Project Coordinator to take the baton once the initial sale is made. You will be the crucial bridge between our sales team, our clients, our vendors, and our installation crews. Reporting directly to the Sales Project Manager, you will transform conceptual sales sketches into breathtaking 3D renderings, exact technical specifications, and bulletproof execution packets.
If you love creating photorealistic designs, mapping out cabinet modifications, and managing the logistical puzzle of a remodel without the pressure of commission-based prospecting, this is your ideal role.

- Produce high-quality, photorealistic 3D renderings that allow homeowners to fully visualize their new space and secure final design sign-off.
- Finalize and refine designs in 20/20 (or similar software) ensuring exact clearances, filler requirements, and functional flow.
- Review and verify field measurements against the proposed design to guarantee perfect fitment before ordering.
Procurement & Vendor Management
- Translate approved 20/20 designs into exact vendor order sheets.
- Map custom specifications to specific manufacturer codes (e.g., custom cabinet doors, drawer boxes, millwork, and hardware).
- Place orders, track ETAs, and proactively manage backorders or shipping delays.
Installation Coordination & Support
- Create comprehensive "Installation Packets" for the field crews, including detailed floor plans, annotated elevations, and complete material checklists.
- Assist the Sales Project Manager with gathering documentation for municipal permits and inspections.
- Act as a technical liaison for the installer if on-site design translation questions arise.
Post-Sale Client Experience
- Conduct design review sessions with clients to present 3D renderings and finalize material selections.
- Maintain weekly contact with the homeowner during the waiting period between the sale and installation.
- Update clients on material shipping statuses and project timelines.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in kitchen and bath drafting, rendering, estimating, or project coordination.

- Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of cabinetry nomenclature, catalog reading, construction methods, and building materials.

- Communication: Professional demeanor with the ability to communicate technical and aesthetic details clearly to both rough-and-tumble installers and high-end residential clients.
- Must have reliable transportation for occasional site visits in the Essex County area.
