Job summary

Warner Bros. Discovery is seeking a Post Production Engineer in Burbank, CA to lead the post-production technology ecosystem. You will manage enterprise storage, editing, virtualization, automation and workflows that support content creation, management and delivery worldwide.

The role requires experience with Avid workflows, Interplay, ISIS, and storage systems, plus scripting to automate processes. Collaboration with vendors and cross-functional teams is essential, with a strong emphasis on

Qualifications

2-3 years in a post-production editorial environment.
2-3 years as assistant editor in Avid
2-3 years scripting development (Perl/JS/Shell)
Proficient in Avid infrastructure and workflows.

Responsibilities

Monitors data centers, shared storage, Interplay and VMware; oversees new equipment.
Tests, improves, and creates new workflows across the infra and large-scale deployments.
Resolves A/V, software, and hardware issues with teams and vendors; documents issues and optimizes network performance.
Provides technical support to editorial staff, focusing on Avid workflows and troubleshooting.
Develops and maintains automation scripts; creates Confluence docs to share processes and standards.
Oversees VM workflows for scalable operations and researches upgrades.
Performs additional duties as assigned.
