Responsibilities

  • Act as day-to-day liaison for Editorial and Post teams across projects.
  • Support coordination across Production, VFX, and internal studio teams.
  • Track and maintain production and post-production milestones.
  • Maintain show calendars, production schedules and timelines.
  • Coordinate meetings, conference calls, and executive sessions.
  • Update tracking systems and provide executive reporting.
  • Document key meeting updates and action items.
  • Assist with editorial room setup and ensure systems/access are in place.
  • Onboard editorial and post personnel, including account setup.
  • Assist in securing editorial office space and coordinating setup.
  • Coordinate travel, housing and logistics for editorial teams.
  • Support shipping and equipment coordination for remote locations.
  • Maintain vendor coordination and service needs.
  • Create and track purchase orders and invoices.
  • Maintain assets check-in/out records.
  • Coordinate logistics for internal and executive screenings, scheduling and room setup.
  • Assist in managing Executive Screening Room and ensure materials are available.
  • Support review processes and ensure materials are accessible.
  • Assist in coordinating final delivery, including QC and master approvals.
  • Partner with distribution teams to support delivery timelines.
  • Maintain documentation related to workflows, onboarding and procedures.

Job description

The Post Production Coordinator supports the execution of post-production activities across theatrical, streaming, and animation projects. This role focuses on administrative coordination, operational support, and cross-functional alignment to ensure projects progress efficiently from pre-production through final delivery. The Coordinator partners with Post Production leaders and works closely with Production, Editorial, and Studio teams to maintain schedules, track deliverables, and support day-to-day operations.

Responsibilities:
Production & Post Coordination
  • Act as a day-to-day liaison and point of contact for Editorial and Post teams across assigned projects
  • Support coordination across Production, VFX, and internal studio teams
  • Track and maintain production and post-production milestones
Scheduling, Reporting & Communications
  • Maintain show calendars, production schedules, and departmental timelines
  • Coordinate meetings, conference calls, and executive sessions
  • Update tracking systems and support executive reporting
  • Document key meeting updates and action items
Editorial & Post Operations
  • Assist with editorial room setup and ensure systems and access are in place
  • Support onboarding of editorial and post personnel, including account setup and access management
Vendor, Facilities & Logistics
  • Assist in securing editorial office space and coordinating setup
  • Coordinate travel, housing, and logistics for editorial teams
  • Support shipping and equipment coordination for remote locations
  • Help maintain vendor coordination and service needs
Financial & Administrative Support
  • Create and track purchase orders and invoices.
  • Maintain, collect, and audit physical assets provided by the Post Production team. You will maintain records of when assets are checked in and out.
Screenings & Reviews
  • Coordinate logistics for internal and executive screenings, including scheduling and room setup.
  • Assist in managing Executive Screening Room.
  • Support review processes and ensure materials are available.
Delivery & Distribution Support
  • Assist in coordinating final delivery, including quality control and master approvals.
  • Partner with distribution teams to support delivery timelines.
Documentation & Process Support
  • Maintain documentation related to workflows, onboarding, and procedures.
  • Support development and upkeep of operational guidelines.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 1+ years of production/post production experience; or relevant internship experience.
  • Strong organizational skills, ability to multi-task and organize multiple projects, with excellent follow through.
  • Strong communication skills, with an ability to interface with 3rd party vendors, internal executives and staff in a collaborative and problem-solving fashion.
  • Ability to anticipate and resolve routine questions or issues while keeping senior executives aware of project status.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with Physical production and/or Post production previous Studio Production experience preferred.
  • Familiarity post calendars and applications.

The hiring range for this position in Burbank, CA is $53,200 to $68,700 per year based on a 40 hour work week. The amount of hours scheduled per week may vary based on business needs. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
