LiveWell Homecare Agency, LLC is seeking an experienced registered nurse to provide patient-centered care in a Critical Care Step Down Unit in Brook Park, Ohio. The role involves interpreting EKGs, managing central lines, and assisting with bedside procedures.

You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality care for a 14-bed unit. Candidates should be a graduate of an accredited nursing program with an Ohio RN license and BLS/ACLS certifications.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in Ohio.

• PRN roles require relevant RN experience.

Job description

The role involves providing high-quality, patient-centered care in a Critical Care Step Down Unit, primarily managing patients with conditions such as congestive heart failure, COPD, DKA, and sepsis.
Responsibilities include interpreting EKGs, caring for central lines, assisting with bedside procedures (endoscopies, bronchoscopies), and utilizing advanced technology like rescue Bi-Pap, high-flow oxygen, and vents.
The nurse collaborates with Patient Care Nursing Assistants, Interns, Providers, PT, and OT staff to deliver comprehensive care to a 14-bed unit.
Key skills include critical thinking, delegation, time management, and technical proficiency in critical care procedures.
Qualifications require graduation from an accredited nursing program, current RN licensure in Ohio, BLS and ACLS certifications, and relevant RN experience for PRN roles.
Preferred candidates hold a BSN and professional certifications recognized by the Magnet designation.
