Job summary

LiveWell Homecare Agency, LLC seeks a Registered Nurse for a Critical Care Step Down Unit, delivering patient-centered care for conditions like heart failure, COPD, DKA, and sepsis. You will perform EKG interpretation, central line care, and bedside procedures while monitoring with telemetry and advanced tech.

Collaboration with PCNAs, interns, providers, PT, and OT is essential. A BSN is preferred, with strong clinical skills and magnet-recognized certifications valued.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Current RN licensure in Ohio.
• BLS certification; ACLS certification within six months.
• One year of RN experience for PRN role; all certifications required at hire.

Responsibilities:

• Utilize skills such as EKG interpretation, central line care, and bedside procedures (endoscopies, bronchoscopies).
• Monitor patients using advanced technology, including telemetry, virtual whiteboards, and patient lifts.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members including PCNAs, interns, providers, PT, and OT.
• Apply critical thinking, delegation, and time management to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Current RN licensure in Ohio.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; ACLS certification within six months.
• One year of relevant RN experience for PRN role; all certifications required at hire.

Skills & Preferences:

Strong clinical skills, certifications, with a preference for BSN and Magnet-recognized certifications.
