Job summary

LiveWell Homecare Agency, LLC seeks a registered nurse to join a Critical Care Step Down Unit, delivering high-quality, patient-centered care to diverse populations including those with congestive heart failure, COPD, DKA, and sepsis.

You will interpret EKGs, manage central lines, and assist with bedside procedures while leading with critical thinking, delegation, and time management in collaboration with patient care assistants, interns, providers, and therapy teams.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited nursing program; RN licensure in Ohio; BLS and ACLS certifications.
• PRN staff require at least one year of RN experience.
• BSN or Magnet-recognized certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Interpret EKGs and monitor rhythm changes.
• Care for central lines and manage associated therapies.
• Manage rescue Bi-PAP, high-flow oxygen, trachs/vents, and assist with bedside procedures.
• Collaborate with patient care assistants, interns, providers, and therapy teams.
• Demonstrate critical thinking, delegation, and effective time management.

Seeking a registered nurse to join a Critical Care Step Down Unit, providing high-quality, patient-centered care to diverse populations including those with congestive heart failure, COPD, DKA, and sepsis.

Key responsibilities include EKG interpretation, central line care, managing rescue Bi-PAP, high-flow oxygen, trachs/vents, and assisting with bedside procedures. The role requires critical thinking, delegation, and effective time management while collaborating with patient care assistants, interns, providers, and therapy teams.

The unit features 14 beds and utilizes advanced technology such as patient lifts, hands-free communication, virtual whiteboards, and telemetry monitoring.

Qualifications include graduation from an accredited nursing program, current RN licensure in Ohio, BLS, and ACLS certifications. PRN staff need at least one year of relevant RN experience and must obtain certifications upon hire. Preferred candidates possess a BSN or professional certification recognized by the Magnet.
