Job summary

LiveWell Homecare Agency, LLC seeks a Registered Nurse for a Critical Care Step Down Unit in Ohio. You will provide patient-centered care for complex conditions, perform central line care, and interpret EKGs, with rotating shifts including weekends and holidays.

Ideal candidates have an accredited nursing program degree, Ohio RN license, BLS due within 90 days, ACLS within 6 months, and at least 1 year of RN experience for PRN roles; BSN and Magnet-recognized certification are a plus.

Role:

Responsibilities:

Provide high-quality, patient-centered care for patients with conditions such as CHF, COPD, DKA, and Sepsis. Utilize skills in EKG interpretation, central line care, and bedside procedures like endoscopies and bronchoscopies. Demonstrate critical thinking, delegation, and effective time management. Collaborate with nursing assistants, interns, providers, and therapy staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Qualifications & Skills:

Graduate of an accredited nursing program, current RN licensure in Ohio, BLS certification (obtained within 90 days), ACLS certification (within 6 months), and at least 1 year of relevant RN experience (for PRN). Preferred qualifications include a BSN and Magnet-recognized professional certification.

Work Environment:

14-bed unit equipped with advanced technology such as patient lifts, virtual whiteboards, telemetry monitoring, and communication tools. Work hours include rotating shifts with weekends and holidays.
