Job summary

Qualifications

• Associates Degree in Nursing or Technical Nursing Diploma/Certificate required.
• 2 years acute care nursing experience required or 1-3 years critical care experience.
• Registered Nurse license in Florida or eligible compact state upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Assess and diagnose patient and family needs to provide quality care.
• Develop and communicate a plan of care with patient/family/significant other.
• Educate patients postoperatively and prepare for next level of care.
• Implement medical plan of care and nursing interventions as necessary.
• Evaluate identified problems and patient responses to ensure quality care.
• Maintain accurate documentation of nursing care for the health care team.
