Qualifications

• RN license in Florida or a compact state on hire; BLS and ACLS within 90 days; NIH Stroke Scale within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Assess and diagnose patient and family needs to provide quality post-op care.
• Develop and communicate a realistic plan of care with patient/family.
• Educate patients post operatively and prepare for next level of care.
• Implement medical plan of care, nursing interventions, and procedures.
• Document nursing care accurately for the health care team.
• Maintain supplies and assist in department operations; may stay on campus during weather events.
