Qualifications

• Requires a Bachelor’s degree and minimum of 2 years of relevant experience, OR Master’s degree with a minimum of 0 years of relevant experience.
• Experience supporting post-market quality, reliability engineering, or product performance for regulated medical devices preferred.
• Strong analytical skills with experience using statistical methods to evaluate product reliability and performance trends.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical evaluations of field-observed product performance, performing risk assessments aligned with product risk management files and existing mitigations.
• Analyze complaint data, software performance, hardware reliability, labeling considerations, and product trends to identify opportunities for improvement.
• Partner with Medical Safety to assess potential patient harm, estimate occurrence probabilities, and evaluate overall product risk.
• Evaluate the reliability and risk impact of design, manufacturing, supplier, and software changes for commercially released products.
• Serve as the technical representative for post-market quality processes, including CAPA.
