Job summary

Medtronic in Minnesota is seeking a Quality Engineer II to support the global Service and Repair organization. Based in Rice Creek, this onsite role partners across Engineering, Regulatory, and Operations to maintain quality systems, drive CAPA, validation, and continuous improvement initiatives.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s in Engineering or Science with 2+ years in engineering or quality, and demonstrates data-driven problem solving, supplier quality experience, and collaboration

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Science, or a technical field with 2+ years of engineering and/or quality experience.
• Advanced Degree in Engineering, Science, or a technical field with 0+ years of engineering and/or quality experience may apply.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Engineering, Regulatory, Supplier Quality, Post-Market Quality, and Operating Units to support quality system compliance and operational objectives.
• Develop, implement, and maintain quality standards, procedures, and controls within a service and repair environment.
• Provide quality oversight for validation and verification activities, nonconformance management, and CAPA processes.
• Investigate quality issues, assess risk, and support implementation of corrective actions.
• Ensure that suppliers deliver quality parts, materials, and services.
• Coordinate change control and PPAP reviews to ensure regulatory requirements are met.
