Job summary

Medtronic is seeking a Design Quality Engineer II to support post-market and sustaining engineering for the Wound Management portfolio. You will ensure quality standards are applied, participate in risk assessments, and collaborate with design, manufacturing, and regulatory teams to maintain safety and reliability of released medical devices.

The role emphasizes hands-on problem solving, data-driven improvements, and adherence to the Medtronic Quality Management System throughout the product

Qualifications

• Requires a Baccalaureate degree and minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
• Experience applying design controls and risk management in medical devices.

Responsibilities

• Develops, modifies, applies and maintains quality standards and protocol for processing materials into finished products.
• Collaborates with engineering and manufacturing to ensure quality standards are in place.
• Conducts quality assurance tests and statistical analysis to assess product conformity and reliability.
• Ensures corrective actions meet reliability standards and documentation is compliant.
