Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist OR Academy in Winston-Salem, NC invites you to join the November 2026 RN Post Graduate Training Program in the Operating Room. New grads will participate in classroom and clinical training to master OR care under experienced preceptors.

Stage I includes orientation and five weeks of immersive classes; Stage II provides clinical rotations with circulator and scrub roles, hands-on experience, and mentorship to develop essential OR skills.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing.
• Registered Nurse licensure from the State Board.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification.

Responsibilities

• Readies for classroom and clinical commitments before meetings.
• Fulfills examination requirements on designated days.
• Keeps meticulous clinical case records.
• Maintains a constructive and enthusiastic demeanor during clinical rotations.
• Delivers age-appropriate patient care following Age/Developmental Guidelines.
