Job summary

Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist in Winston-Salem invites applications for its RN Post Graduate Training Program in the Operating Room. New graduates will participate in comprehensive classroom and clinical training to master OR care, under experienced preceptors to develop circulator and scrub skills.

Stage I includes orientation and immersive classes, followed by clinical rotations with surgical patients, taught by dedicated preceptors in the OR and supported by a strong mentorship culture

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing.
• Registered Nurse licensure from the State of North Carolina Board of Nursing.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) required.

Responsibilities

• Diligently readies for classroom and clinical commitments before arranging meetings.
• Consistently fulfills examination requirements on designated days.
• Keeps meticulous clinical case records.
• Upholds a constructive and enthusiastic demeanor during clinical rotations.
• Delivers age-appropriate care in accordance with Age/Developmental Guidelines during patient care.
