Wick Buildings in Thomson, IL is hiring a Post Frame Construction Crew Member to join a field crew building agricultural, commercial, residential, and equestrian structures. You will assist with site prep, framing, roofing, siding, and finishing while prioritizing safety and quality.

The role involves outdoor work in varying weather, lifting up to 75 pounds, and traveling to job sites as needed. Competitive pay and ESOP benefits are offered.

Qualifications

Construction experience preferred but not required.
Ability to lift and carry up to 75 pounds regularly.
Comfortable working at heights and climbing ladders.
Willingness to travel overnight.

Responsibilities

Assist in the construction of post-frame buildings from start to finish.
Install posts, trusses, girts, roof purlins, steel roofing, and siding.
Operate hand tools, power tools, and construction equipment safely.
Load and unload materials and maintain an organized job site.
Follow construction plans and supervisor instructions.
Work safely at heights using appropriate fall protection equipment.
Maintain company quality standards and customer satisfaction.
Travel to job sites as required.
Participate in safety meetings, training, and inspections.
