Job summary

Wick Buildings is seeking a Post Frame Construction Crew Member in Clinton, IL. You will join a crew to build post-frame structures for agricultural, commercial, residential, and equestrian needs, participating in site prep, framing, roofing, siding, and finishing while prioritizing safety and quality.

Responsibilities include installing posts and trusses, using hand and power tools, and traveling to job sites as needed. A strong work ethic and ability to work outdoors are essential.

Qualifications

• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Capable of lifting up to 75 pounds regularly.
• Comfortable working at heights and climbing ladders.

Position Summary

As a Post Frame Construction Crew Member, you will work with a crew to construct post-frame buildings for agricultural, commercial, residential, and equestrian customers. Crew members assist with all phases of construction, including site preparation, framing, roofing, siding installation, and finishing work while maintaining a strong commitment to safety and quality.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the construction of post-frame buildings from start to finish.
• Install posts, trusses, girts, roof purlins, steel roofing, and siding.
• Operate hand tools, power tools, and construction equipment safely.
• Load and unload materials and maintain an organized job site.
• Follow construction plans and supervisor instructions.
• Work safely at heights using appropriate fall protection equipment.
• Maintain company quality standards and customer satisfaction.
• Travel to job sites as required.
• Participate in safety meetings, training, and inspections.

Qualifications

• Construction experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 75 pounds regularly.
• Comfortable working at heights and climbing ladders.
• Strong work ethic, reliability, and positive attitude.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Willingness to travel overnight
