Job summary

K-Construction is hiring laborers in New Mexico. This role offers a clear path from Laborer to Skilled Laborer, Lead Man, and Foreman, with on-the-job training and mentorship. You will join a team that values accountability, safety, and reliability as it builds lasting projects.

You will participate in daily planning, equipment loading, and keeping the site safe and productive, while developing both trade skills and leadership abilities for a real career with growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Willingness to learn and improve on the job.

• Basic awareness of jobsite safety.
• Curiosity and desire to grow in trades and leadership.
• Previous construction or trades experience is helpful but not required.

Responsibilities

• Check Buildertrend for the day's plan and prepare accordingly.
• Load trucks with tools, PPE, equipment, and materials.
• Follow direction from the Foreman and Lead Man.
• Provide labor to keep the crew productive.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe jobsite.
• Learn proper construction methods, tools, and techniques.
• Ask questions, accept coaching, and continually improve.
• Work toward a development plan and advancement to Skilled Laborer.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Check Buildertrend for the day's plan and prepare accordingly

Ideal:

• Previous construction, agricultural, mechanical, or trades experience
• Valid driver's license
• Reliable transportation

Previous construction experience is helpful, but it isn't required. Character, work ethic, and the willingness to learn matter more.
