Job summary

K-Construction is hiring a Laborer to learn through hands-on training and grow into a Skilled Laborer and future Foreman. You’ll contribute to site prep, placement, finishing, and cleanup while adhering to safety and quality standards on every project.

Ideal candidates show a solid work ethic, reliability, teamwork, and a willingness to take direction. This role offers a clear progression and opportunities to lead as you gain experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist with site prep, grading, forming, reinforcement, concrete placement, finishing, and cleanup.
• Follow direction from Foreman and Lead Man.
• Check Buildertrend for day’s plan and prepare accordingly.
• Load the truck with tools, PPE, equipment, and materials.
• Stay productive and pick up the next task when current work is finished.
• Recognize potential problems and bring possible solutions to the crew.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe jobsite.
• Learn proper concrete methods, tools, equipment, and finishing techniques.
• Ask questions, accept coaching, and continually improve your skills.
• Work toward a personal development plan and advancement to Skilled Laborer.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

Ideal:

• Previous construction or concrete experience
• Valid driver’s license
• Reliable transportation

Previous concrete experience is helpful, but it isn’t required. Character, work ethic, and the willingness to learn matter more.
