Job summary

K-Construction in New Mexico is looking for a motivated Laborer to learn a skilled trade, grow into a leader, and help build a durable career. You’ll work under the Foreman, assist with materials and equipment, and contribute to a safe, efficient job site.

No prior experience is required—just a strong work ethic, reliability, and willingness to learn. A clear progression from Laborer to Skilled Laborer, Lead Man, and Foreman exists with hands-on training and growth opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Check Buildertrend for the day's plan and prepare accordingly
• Load trucks with tools, PPE, equipment, and materials
• Follow Foreman and Lead Man directions
• Provide labor to keep crew productive and projects moving
• Maintain a clean, organized, safe jobsite
• Learn proper construction methods, tools, and techniques
• Ask questions and accept coaching to improve
• Work toward a development plan and advancement to Skilled Laborer

WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Check Buildertrend for the day's plan and prepare accordingly
• Load trucks with the tools, PPE, equipment, and materials needed for the job
• Follow direction from the Foreman and Lead Man
• Provide the labor needed to keep the crew productive and projects moving forward
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe jobsite
• Learn proper construction methods, tools, and techniques

• Work toward a personal development plan and advancement to Skilled Laborer

WHO YOU ARE

Essential:

• Willing to learn and improve

Ideal:

• Previous construction, agricultural, mechanical, or trades experience
• Valid driver's license
• Reliable transportation

Previous construction experience is helpful, but it isn't required. Character, work ethic, and the willingness to learn matter more.
