Job summary

Cleary Building Corp. is seeking a Carpenter in Ottawa, KS to join a respected team building high-quality post-frame structures. You will construct buildings from the ground up and operate a variety of hand and power tools while learning on the job with experienced mentors.

You will work outdoors in all weather, at heights up to 35 feet, and participate in a structured development program that supports career growth toward Foreman in Training and beyond.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Willing to learn and grow in the role.
• Prior experience in construction or the trades is a plus – but not required.
• Competitive starting wages and structured pay increases.

Responsibilities

• Construct post frame buildings from the ground up.
• Operate a variety of hand and power tools.
• Work at heights on ladders and aerial platforms (up to 35 feet).
• Work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Develop carpentry and construction skills through on-the-job training.
