Job summary

Cleary Building Corp in Clinton, IL is seeking a Carpenter to join a trusted team building high-quality post-frame structures. You will construct buildings from the ground up and operate a variety of basic hand and power tools, working at heights and outdoors in different weather.

No prior post-frame experience is required. Through comprehensive on-the-job training, experienced mentors, and a structured development program, you’ll learn the skills needed to become a successful construction

Qualifications

Must be 18 years of age or older.
Strong work ethic and reliability.
Comfortable working in all weather conditions.
Prior experience in construction or the trades is a plus – but not required.
Willing to learn and grow in the role.
Competitive starting wages with structured pay increases.
Weather pay and travel pay (where applicable).

Responsibilities

Construct post frame buildings from the ground up.
Operate a variety of basic hand and power tools.
Work at heights on ladders and aerial platforms (up to 35 feet).
Enjoy stable, year-round employment.
Work outdoors in various weather conditions.
Continuously learn and develop skills in carpentry, framing, and construction.
Deliver value and quality to clients on every project.
