Job summary

Mortgage Connect seeks a Title Clearance Coordinator, Post Sale, to review post-sale title commitments, identify defects, and coordinate timely resolutions to ensure good and marketable title for conveyance, claim filings, or post-foreclosure disposition.

You will work with attorneys, title vendors, clients, servicers, investors, and internal partners to cure title issues, monitor timelines, and document actions. A strong attention to detail and deadline discipline are essential for success.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 1–5 years in default servicing, title clearance, foreclosure, post‑foreclosure, REO, conveyance, or related mortgage operations.
• Working knowledge of real estate titles, deeds, liens, judgments, and title curative processes.
• Familiarity with FHA/HUD, VA, USDA, FNMA, or similar investor guidelines preferred.
• Strong customer service focus and ability to communicate with clients, attorneys, vendors, and internal partners.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, manage competing priorities, and meet deadlines.
• Attention to detail, follow-up discipline, and accurate documentation.

Responsibilities

• Review post-foreclosure title reports, commitments, deeds, vesting docs, and related items to identify clearance needs.
• Coordinate resolution of title defects, liens, judgments, and other exceptions affecting good title.
• Collaborate with attorneys, title vendors, clients, servicers, investors, and internal teams to cure issues.
• Monitor conveyance timelines and title clearance milestones for regulatory compliance.
• Document findings, actions taken, and escalation steps; ensure audit-ready records.
