The Chronicle Of Higher Education, Inc. is looking for a NextGen Post-Doctoral Fellow to conduct research supporting the N.C.A&T Aggie Academy and the Center of Excellence for Educational Equity Research. In a partnership between North Carolina A&T State University and The University of North Carolina at Wilmington, the NextGen Post-Doctoral Fellow will conduct research in support of the N.C.A&T Aggie Academy and the Center of Excellence for Educational Equity Research in the areas of Leadership in Education and Educator Preparation.
The post‑doctoral fellow will also participate in teaching and mentoring graduate students.
The mission of the forthcoming Center of Excellence for Educational Equity Research is to advance research to inform educational policies and practices for greater equity in K‑12 and higher education contexts. The Center’s research and professional learning programming will also inform teaching, leadership, and counseling practices to create anti‑racist and culturally sustaining learning environments for all learners.

A doctoral degree in Education, Leadership, or a related field. Skills include critical thinking, time management, and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
This position may be eligible for a remote or hybrid work arrangement, consistent with university and state policies. N.C.A&T employees are generally required to reside in North Carolina, within a 2‑hour commuting distance of their assigned duty station.
