This position is designed to recruit two highly motivated postdocs with a strong background in molecular biology or virology to support studies on Epstein-Barr virus (EBV) oncology. Individuals should be open to learning new techniques and have a strong interest in using next-generation sequencing-based techniques to study virus-host interactions. Specifically, Individuals will perform epigenetic (Including histone modification and DNA methylation) and 3D genome organization studies on the interplay between EBV infection and host interactions. Using in vitro B cell transformation model and 3D organoid to understand the role of EBV encoded oncogenes in cancer development.
Required qualifications:
1. A Ph.D. degree in biology or a related field.
2. Proficiency in skills like molecular cloning, immunoprecipitation, cell culture, immunofluorescence, qRT-PCR, western blots, CRISPR knockout, etc.
3. Experiences in epigenetic research-related skills like ChIP-seq, ChIP-qPCR, HiChIP, and ATAC-seq are highly desirable.
4. Demonstrate abilities to perform experiments and solve problems independently.
5. Good communication and writing skills.

Pay Range: $61,000 - $63,000; depending on education/qualifications/experience
