Job summary

CrossCountry Mortgage is seeking a Post Closing Bond Manager to lead the Bond Post Closing Team and streamline escalation handling for MCC and bond programs. The role partners with senior management to ensure timely resolutions and ongoing operational excellence.

The ideal candidate will bring mortgage lending expertise, strong project management skills, and a track record of coaching teams to meet SLAs while driving improvements across the post-closing process.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 5+ years of experience in mortgage lending, including knowledge of bond programs.
• 2+ years of management experience.
• Experience with Encompass LOS is preferred.
• Advanced knowledge of MCC/bond program requirements.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day management of the Bond Post Closing Team, including pipeline efficiency and coaching.
• Monitor and report file activity; maintain SRP reports and aged loans.
• Conduct twice-weekly oversight reviews and provide trend analysis.
• Submit at least two process improvement suggestions per month.
• Perform second-tier review of escalated files.
• Ensure team meets SLAs and production targets while remaining compliant.
• Resolve post-closing issues related to MCC and bond programs.
• Interpret processes in line with investor and regulatory requirements.
• Coach and support staff via weekly one-on-one meetings.
