Job summary

Elliott Davis is a leading advisor providing transaction, accounting, and finance advisory services to private equity and portfolio companies. This role focuses on leading post-close transaction accounting engagements, including opening balance sheets, purchase accounting, and NWC analyses.

You will work with sponsors, management teams, and other professionals to resolve complex accounting issues and drive successful outcomes, with opportunities for client interaction and business development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field required.
• CPA required.
• Experience with M&A transactions and purchase accounting preferred.
• Strong GAAP knowledge, ASC 805 understanding.
• Experience supervising staff and coordinating multiple engagements.

Responsibilities

• Lead transaction accounting engagements post-close lifecycle.
• Manage opening balance sheets and purchase price adjustments.
• Perform NWC analyses and final closing statements.
• Coordinate with sponsors, management, auditors, and legal advisors.
• Manage project budgets, staffing, and delivery timelines.
• Develop and mentor junior staff and associates.
