Job summary

Elliott Davis is a leading provider of transaction, accounting, and finance advisory services to private equity firms and portfolio companies. In this role you will lead transaction-related accounting engagements across the post-close lifecycle, managing opening balance sheets, purchase accounting, and NWC analyses to support value creation.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in public accounting, transaction advisory services, accounting advisory, audit, or corporate accounting.
• Experience with M&A transactions, purchase accounting, NWC analyses, and financial statement prep.
• Ability to interpret purchase agreements and GAAP provisions.

Responsibilities

• Lead multiple transaction accounting engagements from opening balance sheets to final closing statements.
• Coordinate with PE sponsors, portfolio company leadership, auditors, and legal counsel.
• Develop transaction accounting methodologies, templates, and tech-enabled solutions.
• Prepare and present analyses to executives and investors.
• Mentor junior staff and manage engagement economics and timelines.
