The Department of Medicine at the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus has an opening for a full-time Post-Award Core Grants and Contracts Program Manager. The role leads the Post-Award Core team, delivering post-award support to DOM faculty and coordinating with the Office of Grants and Contracts.

Hybrid schedule (3–4 days on campus) with 8 AM–5 PM hours; strong emphasis on compliance, training, and effective financial administration across NIH, VA, DOD, and private funders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in public administration, healthcare, finance, accounting, business administration or related field.
• Five years of experience managing sponsored projects administration, including at least three years post-award.
• Three years of experience supervising professional employees.

Responsibilities

• Supervise a team of research services professionals and assign workloads.
• Create and maintain SOPs and policies for the Post-Award Core.
• Serve as the Department’s content expert in post-award grants and contracts management.
• Prepare budgets and ensure compliance with applicable policies and sponsor requirements.
