Job summary

University of Colorado Anschutz is seeking a Grants and Contracts Specialist to manage preaward grants, budgets, and sponsor compliance. You will coordinate proposals, advise investigators, and ensure timely submissions across multiple sponsors.

The role requires collaboration with OGC and ACCORDS leadership, with a hybrid on-site/remote work schedule and a strong emphasis on accuracy and policy adherence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in public administration, social/behavioral sciences, finance, accounting, business, or related field.
• Minimum of 2 years managing grant applications and budgets.
• Experience with federal, state, private foundation policies and university procedures.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate preaward grants and contracts activity independently as assigned.
• Review budgets for NIH, AHRQ, PCORI and other sponsors prior to submission.
• Advise PIs on budget restrictions and indirect cost considerations.
• Process submission packets and ensure compliance with sponsor and university policies.
• Maintain grant and contract files and generate leadership reports.
