The University of Virginia's Office of Sponsored Programs is seeking a Post-Award Accountant to monitor, reconcile, and analyze expenditure on sponsored awards, and prepare invoices and financial reports for sponsors. The role offers on-site, hybrid, or fully remote work per UVA guidelines.

Responsibilities include reviewing award terms, processing payments, resolving variances, and supporting audits. Minimum qualifications include a Bachelor's degree and 3+ years of relevant experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; three+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience with post-award accounting, grants, and audits preferred.
• Ability to travel occasionally and perform desk-based work.

Responsabilités

• Review sponsor award terms and track invoicing and reporting.
• Review payments, apply cash, and investigate variances.
• Escalate non-compliance issues to management.
• Prepare invoices (incl. letters of credit draws) and assist cash application.
