North Carolina State University is seeking a Fiscal Manager in Raleigh, NC to provide senior financial management for sponsored research awards across the university. You will ensure financial integrity, compliance, and accurate revenue cycle management under the Office of Post-Award Financial Services.

You will interpret award guidelines, approve transactions, and prepare sponsor reports, serving as a financial advisor to researchers and administrators across campus.

Competenze

• Advanced knowledge of Uniform Guidance (2 CFR 200), CFR, GAAP, and sponsor terms for institutional compliance.
• Ability to apply the COSO internal control framework and manage audit reviews.
• Advanced analytical skills to interpret complex sponsor guidelines and resolve discrepancies.
• Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Demonstrated adaptability to work independently and in cross-functional teams.

Mansioni

• Manage financial analysis, revenue management, and accounting controls across the lifecycle of sponsored awards.
• Oversee system-generated and manual invoicing, accounts receivable, and LC draw-down analyses to support cash flow.
• Prepare, reconcile, and submit complex financial reports and billing statements under delegated authority.
• Conduct detailed account reconciliations, analyze expenditure trends, and process budget reallocations and adjustments.
• Oversee award lifecycle transitions, including setup reviews, carryovers, and closeout procedures.
