Job summary

Intermountain Health is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse at St. Mary’s Hospital in Grand Junction, Colorado. The position supports a Post Anesthesia team with a focus on patient safety, collaboration, and clinical excellence in a welcoming community.

Expect nights with a typical 6 days on and 8 days off schedule and a 36-hour work week. Licensure in the state of practice and BSN are required, along with a BLS certification and a strong commitment to teamwork.

Qualifications

• Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in state of practice; compact licenses must transfer within 60 days.
• BSN from an accredited program; BSN required as of 4/27/2025.
• BLS certification for healthcare providers.

Responsibilities

• Assess physical, social, and psychological status and information from the interdisciplinary team.
• Develop and update individualized plan of care with patient/family involvement.
• Coordinate and delegate care to the care team while managing time and resources.
• Evaluate patient response and revise care plan as needed.
• Promote professionalism, ethical standards, and accurate documentation.
