Job summary

TeamHealth in Columbia, SC is seeking a nurse practitioner or physician assistant to join our post-acute care team. This full-time role rounds in skilled nursing facilities with excellent support, training, autonomy, and earning potential.

You will work four days per week (two weekdays plus Saturday and Sunday) in a fee-for-service model with uncapped productivity income. A 3-month onboarding program and field mentor support are provided as part of our comprehensive development plan.

Qualifications

• NP or PA license (SC) and DEA
• Experience in post-acute, acute, ED, or clinic settings preferred; new grads welcome to apply
• Strong clinical foundation and knowledge of healthcare regulatory standards
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Collaborative, team-oriented approach with a positive outlook

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive patient assessments, including medical histories and physical exams
• Develop, implement, and adjust individualized care plans based on patient needs
• Monitor progress and coordinate care to optimize outcomes
• Collaborate closely with physicians, nursing staff, and other healthcare professionals in a team approach
• Educate patients and families on health management and preventive strategies
• Maintain accurate, timely medical records in compliance with regulations
