Job summary

Intermountain Health Care is seeking a Hospitalist to provide inpatient care at Henderson Hospital, NV. You will oversee patient care during admissions and coordinate with primary care teams and specialists to ensure high-quality outcomes and a smooth transition home.

The role requires Nevada licensure, board eligibility/ certification in Family or Internal Medicine, and a commitment to Intermountain Health’s credentialing process. Visa sponsorship is not available.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
• Residency in Family or Internal Medicine.
• Board certification or eligibility in Family or Internal Medicine.
• Active Nevada medical license or ability to obtain one.
• Ability to successfully complete Intermountain Health’s credentialing process.
• Visa sponsorship is not available at this time.

Responsibilities

• Provide inpatient medical care and oversee patient care during hospital stay.
• Communicate with the primary care team and specialists throughout care.
• Support credentialing and onboarding as part of Intermountain Health system.

About This Role

As a Hospitalist, you will work with a team of healthcare professionals committed to providing quality care and excellent patient experience. In this role you will provide inpatient care at the designated hospital for Intermountain Health Care. You will oversee the patient’s care during their hospital stay, communicating with the primary care team and specialists every step of the way to ensure that the patient gets the care needed to return home safely.

Staffing Schedule & Patient Census

Practice location: Henderson Hospital. Dayshift coverage: Monday through Friday and every 3rd weekend.

• Average daily patient census: 17/day (age 65+)
• Weekend patient census: 20 plus any admissions
• Two hospitalists per practice location

What You’ll Bring
