Job summary

AMM seeks a Director of Practice Operations to lead the integration and ongoing performance of acquired primary care practices within a full-risk value-based care model. Reporting to the President, you will bridge M&A, executive leadership, clinical leadership, and practice operations.

You will drive pre-close readiness through Day 1, 30/60/90-day integration, and steady-state operations, ensuring high performance in access, staffing, productivity, quality, and cost of care across the portfolio.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, Nursing, Public Health, Finance, Operations, or related field.
• 7+ years of progressive healthcare operations experience.
• Demonstrated experience managing multi-site primary care or physician practices.
• Strong knowledge of staffing, scheduling, patient access, provider productivity, revenue cycle, referrals, authorizations, and clinical workflows.
• Proven ability to lead complex operational initiatives involving multiple departments and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead operational integration for newly acquired primary care practices with executive sponsorship.
• Develop pre-close, Day 1, 30/60/90-day, and post-integration operating plans.
• Coordinate due diligence across staffing, patient access, EHR/technology, revenue cycle, and compliance.
• Identify operational risks and implement mitigation plans.
• Lead change management and workflow standardization during transitions.
• Provide concise integration reporting to President and senior leadership.
• Oversee post-integration operations and establish standard operating procedures across practices.
• Drive value-based care performance and high-quality patient experience across sites.
• Partner with Finance, HR, IT, and Revenue Cycle to optimize budgets and performance.
• Mentor Practice Managers and operational leaders to sustain high performance.
