Overview

Position Navigation and Timing SSO - G8 Support Services

Base pay range: $120,000.00/yr - $140,000.00/yr

This Position is Subject to Contract Award. JANUS Research Group is currently seeking a Position, Navigation, and Timing SSO for a contract to support the Deputy Chief of Staff (DCS, G8). The DCS G-8 is the principal military advisor to the Chief of Staff, Army (CSA) and the Assistant Secretary of the Army, Financial Management and Comptroller (ASA(FMC)) for the Programming phase of the Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution (PPBE) process. The DCS, G-8 coordinates with the Assistant Secretary of the Army, Acquisition, Logistics, and Technology (ASA(ALT)) on all proposed programming and process recommendations related to ongoing and future acquisition programs and science and technology initiatives. The DCS, G-8 coordinates with Army Futures Command (AFC) for program funding for all elements of the future force materiel modernization enterprise.

Responsibilities
  • Responsible for managing the Army’s Position, Navigation, and Timing program efforts which include mounted, dismounted and Alternative Navigation technologies and software
  • Experience in Army tactical units that employ Mission Command Transport Applications including Satellite Network Operations, Mission Command Network Applications, Mission Command Service Applications
  • Understand tactics, techniques and procedures associated with Army command, control, and communications systems; and familiarity with Mission Command programs/capabilities - Mission Command specific programs/capabilities can include, but are not limited to, Tactical Radios, Communications Security (COMSEC), JBC-P, Assured PNT, JNTC, Waveforms, Tactical SATCOM, Strategic SATCOM, T2C2, NetOps, Power Generation, Environmental Control, Defensive Cyber, Cyber Operations, CPI2, TNT-MIS, SIGMOD, Tactical Servers Modernization, Network transport, Common Operating Environment (COE) and integration, Power Generation and Environmental Controls.
  • Active Secret security clearance

Salary and Benefits

Salary: $120,000 - $140,000
